With two decades of experience, I am a dedicated mathematics tutor based in Hong Kong, committed to helping students unlock their full potential. My teaching style is effective, engaging, and tailored to individual needs.

My philosophy centers on building a strong foundational understanding of mathematical concepts. I demystify complex topics by breaking them down into digestible segments, using real-world examples to make learning relatable. Beyond rote memorization, I foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills, guiding students to understand the 'why' behind the 'how.'

I conduct initial assessments to identify strengths and weaknesses, then craft customized learning plans. I create a supportive environment where mistakes are learning opportunities, building confidence in my students. I also equip them with effective exam strategies and extensive practice, ensuring they are well-prepared.

My students consistently achieve remarkable results, gaining admission to prestigious institutions. I've had the privilege of teaching students from top UK boarding schools like Dulwich College, Concord College, Cheltenham Ladies College, Tonbridge, St Paul's School, and Sevenoaks School. Furthermore, many of my students from leading international schools in Hong Kong, such as CIS, HKIS and other ESF schools such as KGV, Island School, to name a few. Some of them have gone on to pursue their higher education at globally recognized Tier 1 universities including the University of Cambridge, the University of Oxford, LSE, UCL, UCLA, UC Berkeley, etc., a testament to their hard work and the effectiveness of our collaborative efforts.
