I use the fundamental thoeries behind each topic and explain that. If that doesn't work, I try to relate it to something that interests the student which also rlates to math.
I prefer the virtual taching method. The important part is to make sure the student doesn't lose interest so communication lines continue.
I'm quite skilled on all the concepts, but computing volume and Area is interesting.
I colaborate with the parents to keep the student motivated.
We use online tools when available. (cerebry or desmos)
Before a test, I conduct mock tests to see if the lessons were absorbed
It's a trial end error approach, but once you understand the students habits, it becomes easier
I have not, but I would think this would need a lot of patience.
