I am currently a first-year Children's Nursing student studying at King's College London and I am eager to tutor Biology again after returning to Hong Kong for my summer break! I graduated from King George V School in May 2021 after completing the IB Diploma. I received a 999 for my IGCSE Sciences and a level 6 for HL IB Biology. Having taken both of these courses myself, I fully understand the struggles and will be there to guide you to reaching your full potential every step of the way. I understand how it feels to study hard but not meet your standard, and together we can help you achieve that, so don't worry!

Kia ora! I'm Alice, a first year medical student with a passion for learning. I have no previous experience tutoring, but I've taught ballet for 2-14 year olds for three years, and assisted my peers with their work. I'm wanting to broaden my scope of teaching into academic fields. I love teaching and finding a strategy for learning that works for the student, and that empowers and supports them through their learning journey. There is nothing more satisfying for me than when someone I'm teaching or helping has that "Eureka!" moment. I am incredibly flexible in my teaching styles and am willing to work to adapt my methods to help deepen understanding of the subject. I believe that there is no better way of learning than to teach, both personally and academically. Translating academic knowledge into teachable sections is a skill that I am skilled in, and am excited to improve this. I would be thrilled if I could help even one student deepen their understanding or passion for Biology. Biology is an infinitely interesting field for me and I would love to be able to nurture that passion in students. Science in general is one of my favourite things - particularly how every field interweaves and you can use knowledge in other subjects to more deeply understand. My goal for students would be to find one thing in this field that sparks their interest and would motivate them to learn. Building confidence within the subject of Biology and allowing students to achieve their full potential within this field is paramount - and I am willing to find strategies that work to achieve this. I would absolutely love to share my passion for both learning and Biology.

I have a Masters in Physiotherapy with specialization in Orthopedics. Been a college Lecturer for 4 years. Tutoring students online since the past 4 years. Hello! I am a newly graduated medical doctor who has just moved to Hamburg to hopefully practice here one day. Hello :) I have been tutoring at a tuition centre for 3 years. For primary levels I offer science and chinese. For secondary levels I offer biology, chemistry and geography. My students have done well and I'm really happy of that. I believe that we should be giving students at opportunity to connect content knowledge to real life experiences. I have almost 10 years of tutoring experience. I started tutoring since I was in grade 11. Stop the Brain Freeze! I am Pragya Sharma! I graduated in Biochemistry (Honours) from Daulat Ram College, University of Delhi. I further went on to pursue my master’s degree in Medical Biochemistry from Jamia Hamdard, Delhi. I am currently pursuing Doctorate in Biological Sciences from Queen’s University, Belfast, United Kingdom. During all these years I realised that the classes I appreciated most were not necessarily the topics I was most interested in, rather it was the professors who made the classes enjoyable and interesting. All these professors had one thing in common, they were always engaging and comprehensible when teaching and moreover were willing to go an extra mile when asked for additional help and clarification. I will carry the same approach and knowledge to my tutoring sessions and do everything to make learning a pleasant experience. I use lesson plans in which I usually introduce the topic in a fun and creative way, then explicitly teaching the material. The biggest strategy I strictly adhere in my sessions is “Revise the old; learn the new”. Of course, this method can be adjusted based on the subject and the student’s individual needs. I currently demonstrate on module for biomedical science and in total have eight years of tutoring experience. I want to benefit the students I work with best of my capabilities therefore, I am open to any additional resources and suggestions from both students and parents.
