Hello :) I have been tutoring at a tuition centre for 3 years. For primary levels I offer science and chinese. For secondary levels I offer biology, chemistry and geography. My students have done well and I'm really happy of that. I believe that we should be giving students at opportunity to connect content knowledge to real life experiences. I am currently an undergraduate at NUS, pursuing in Environmental studies.

I have almost 10 years of tutoring experience. I started tutoring since I was in grade 11. I have tutored students at the level of middle school, high school, university (undergraduate), and medical school. I am very focused and goal-oriented and like to finish the lessons/assignments in a given time period, while at the same time engaging the students and making sure they understand the concept(s) thoroughly. The students are generally very satisfied with my tutoring techniques and describe me as a very calm and thorough tutor.

Stop the Brain Freeze! I am Pragya Sharma! I graduated in Biochemistry (Honours) from Daulat Ram College, University of Delhi. I further went on to pursue my master’s degree in Medical Biochemistry from Jamia Hamdard, Delhi. I am currently pursuing Doctorate in Biological Sciences from Queen’s University, Belfast, United Kingdom. During all these years I realised that the classes I appreciated most were not necessarily the topics I was most interested in, rather it was the professors who made the classes enjoyable and interesting. All these professors had one thing in common, they were always engaging and comprehensible when teaching and moreover were willing to go an extra mile when asked for additional help and clarification. I will carry the same approach and knowledge to my tutoring sessions and do everything to make learning a pleasant experience. I use lesson plans in which I usually introduce the topic in a fun and creative way, then explicitly teaching the material. The biggest strategy I strictly adhere in my sessions is “Revise the old; learn the new”. Of course, this method can be adjusted based on the subject and the student’s individual needs. I currently demonstrate on module for biomedical science and in total have eight years of tutoring experience. I want to benefit the students I work with best of my capabilities therefore, I am open to any additional resources and suggestions from both students and parents. I am an experienced Biology/Chemistry Tutor in Toronto. I earned my PhD in Biology (Molecular Virology) from the University of Turku in Finland. Since then, I have successfully completed postdoctoral research fellowships at the University of Helsinki, University of Montreal, the internationally recognized Goodman Cancer Research Centre at the McGill University, and most recently in the Department of Molecular Genetics at the University of Toronto. Throughout my academic career, I have had the privilege of tutoring, mentoring, and supervising high-school, undergraduate and graduate students, nurturing the next generation of scientific talent. Hi guys my name is Karyl I am a recent graduate of a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology degree. While doing my degree I knew I wanted to get into the health field, therefore I did a variety of health courses specifically biology, microbiology and anatomy and physiology which I enjoyed immensely and was succesful in. As I am currently attending Dental Assiting school, my ultimate goal is to become a dental hygienist. So do not hesitate to contact me if you need help in biology.

As a tutor, I strive to provide students with tools to learn how to study for various courses in a way that best suits their learning style. With a passion for science communication and personalized learning, I am happy to offer tutoring in biology - my specialties are in Cell Biology, Physiology, Anatomy, Biochemistry, and Neurosciences (I was the top student in most of these subjects)! So, what credentials do I have? I am a thesis student, completing studies in Biomedical Science at Ryerson University, with a minor in psychology. For nearly two years, I have been working as a research assistant in cancer cell biology. I have won numerous awards for my research presentations and have been an invited speaker to events in the GTA. From as early as high school, I was involved in tutoring and acting as an assistant teacher for both music and science courses. I love learning, and enjoy courses involving cell biology and physiology, subjects of which I currently tutor as a group and private instructor at Ryerson University. I also tutor these subjects and run study sessions for the Ryerson Science Society. I am located in Toronto and offer online or in-person sessions.

I am an experienced Life Sciences teacher living in South East of England. I specialise in anatomy and physiology and tutored these subjects with medical students in Queen's University of Belfast. I have an adaptable teaching style to suit my students particular style of learning.

I have a BA in Sociology and am now a pre-med student. I love learning about science and found myself loving to teach it to my peers. It is not only something I am good at, but I love the subject. I find Biology and Chemistry fascinating and unbelievable and am excited to share the knowledge.
