I am Teacher Elle from the Philippines. I am a dedicated educator with more than a year of experience in teaching English to students, mainly from Korea, from Grade Level to Working Professional Level. My background includes teaching business-related books, travel books, IELTS/OPIC/TOEIC books, grammar books, and I also possess a TEFL certificate. Throughout my career, I have consistently strived to inspire and empower my students to achieve their full potential, academically, personally, and professionally. Growing up in an international sphere, I am a native English speaker constantly curious about culture and history. As a former national competitor of speech in the US, I have coached speech for 3 years both abroad and in Hong Kong. A graduate of Columbia University, I have been based in Hong Kong for the past three years. I am passionate about building confidence and empowering young people to be curious and love learning. As an English teacher with 3 years of experience, I am eager to create an enjoyable environment for English language learning. As a child, I discovered that I wanted to become a teacher, and often acted as a teacher with my cousins and sister. I graduated BS Psychology and currently taking Early Childhood Education. I also had a brief experience teaching Korean students ages 4-6 years old, as an ESL teacher before working for Convergys.

Hi. I am Jan Leibovitz Alloy. Am an editor, writer, and tutor, working primarily with high school students on English, reading, and writing. I have also taught English and Interpersonal Communications at the college level. Have taught preschools as well and love to work one-on-one with students who love to learn. I have written two books, including a historical field guide to Michigan, and currently am editing short stories and a nonfiction book for publication.

I have experience teaching English to children and adults In Canada and overseas and am passionate about creative writing and reading. I have a Bachelors degree from the University of Victoria and have taught reading comprehension, creative writing, and academic writing to both children and adults. I teach the basics of English grammar, reading, sentence structure, editing, essay structure and more.
