Hello! I'm Pat, a current Astronomy MSc student at Leiden University. I received my BS in Astronomy and Physics from the University of Washington in 2023 and have been tutoring online ever since. Hi there! Are you struggling with a math/physics problem you have no idea where to start from when reading it? I've been there... many times. And, to be honest, the struggle never stops, but it can be made challenging and rewarding! I am doing my Ph.D. in aerodynamics, which means I daily deal with mathematics and physics problems I need to solve to complete my doctorate. The mindset of the doctoral student allowed me to build resilience and creativity when approaching a problem we cannot solve, which is a mindset I try to teach all my students.
