I completed my studies at the University of Adelaide, Australia, majoring in Violin. My dedication to the highest standards in music was recognized when I passed the ATCL performance level at the age of 15 in 2018. I was fortunate to have tutors such as Samuel Kwok, Byron Lo, Joe Kwok, and Elizabeth Layton throughout my studies, each of whom played an important role in my development as a musician. I was schooled in musicality during my time at school by actively participating in the Music Youth Orchestra (MYO) and the Haw Par Orchestra. I served as the 1st violinist of the Elder Conservatorium Symphony Orchestra (ECSO) and also played both 1st and 2nd violin with the Elder Conservatorium Chamber Orchestra (ECCO), demonstrating my wide-ranging capabilities. This experience allowed me to perform a large variety of classical and contemporary works. My performance history includes a diverse range of occasions and competitions. Among others, I performed at Disney events, ViuTV shows, and ESCO concerts, including prestigious venues such as the Haw Par performances. I have also been part of several distinguished orchestras in Australia, providing both recordings and live performances. Additionally, I have had the opportunity to work with renowned conductors, such as Mark Wigglesworth, which has greatly contributed to my professional development and artistry. Beyond my performing career, I am also deeply committed to music education and have taught viola and violin at Shek Lei Catholic Secondary School and Queen Maud Secondary School (H.K.M.L.C.). I train students not only in technical skills but also in developing a true appreciation for music, helping them become passionate and skillful young musicians. My journey to this point is grounded in a combination of extensive theoretical knowledge and broad practical training. As a certified ABRSM Grade 8 in Music Theory, I possess a comprehensive understanding of music in general and of my art in particular. This foundation has been further strengthened through masterclasses conducted by professional musicians, including Dale Barltrop, Joseph Elworthy, and Amelia Chan.

I am an experienced educator with over four years of teaching English and computer science to preschool and primary students. I hold TEFL and TKT certifications, as well as a diploma in Montessori education. I am passionate about creativity and enjoy drawing, arts and crafts, and playing the violin at Suzuki Book 3 level. I've also volunteered as an art teacher and love incorporating art into my lessons. Currently based in Bangkok and open to relocating, I am looking for opportunities that allow me to inspire young learners through creativity and personalized education.

I’m a British violin teacher who studied in London. With over 10 years of teaching experience spread across Hong Kong, the Middle East and the UK, I have a proven record of ABRSM exam success. My students have passed 100% of their exams, with 90% of results either Distinction or Merit! I teach students from beginner level up to Grade 8 and Diploma. I also have experience of teaching viola up to Grade 8 and Music Theory up to Grade 5. I’m based on Hong Kong island and I’m willing to travel to your home.

Gabriela began her violin studies at the age of 11 at the Centro de Cultura Musical (Famalicão, Portugal). In 2014, she started studying at Codarts University of the Arts with Olga Martinova, and later at Fontys University of Fine and Performing Arts with Jenny Spanoghe, from which she graduated. Gabriela has participated in master classes with Agustin Leon Ara, Ani Schnarch, Jela Spitkova, Isabelle van Keulen, Frederique Saeijs, and Daniel Bard. In 2017/2018, Gabriela was appointed section leader of the Euregio Jeugd Orkest, with whom she toured Austria’s main concert halls during the summer. As an orchestral musician, she has worked with Euregio Kamerorkest, Orchestra XXI, Kamerata Zuid, and the multiple Grammy Award-winning Metropole Orkest. Gabriela is also an active chamber musician with the Arthema Quartet. Despite its brief existence, the quartet has already performed in venues such as Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Muziekgebouw Eindhoven, and the Toonzaal in 's-Hertogenbosch. The final of the Willem II Chamber Music Competition took place in the latter hall, where the quartet won the Audience Prize in 2018. The Arthema Quartet also received both the Audience Prize and the Jury Prize at the Asten Classic Award in 2019.
