My name is Luyanda Mthabela, and I currently live in Durban. I am fluent in IsiZulu and English. I am a qualified teacher/tutor who is passionate about working with children. I obtained my Bachelor of Education at the University of Zululand, with majors in IsiZulu, English, Mathematics, Natural Science, and Technology, but I am also able to teach subjects beyond my majors. I have been providing one-on-one tutoring services for the past 3 years. During this time, I have used various teaching methods and strategies to cater to the diverse needs and learning styles of my students. These methods include using charts, pictures, flashcards, puzzles, videos, games, reading and rewriting, speaking clearly with a moderate pace, and repeating important information multiple times to ensure that my students achieve exceptional results. I always strive to make my lessons fun and interesting, especially in the areas of languages, science, and mathematics.

I am a certfied native English teacher from the UK with a fine English accent. I hold a Cambridge certificate and I have taught all levels of English from beginner to advanced, as well as business English for corporate executives. I have been tutoring in Hong Kong for 10 years. My main focus is English and since I have a degree in French, I also teach beginner vocabulary and grammar. I am experienced with students of all ages. I am based in Mid-levels and this is my preferred location to teach. I have lived and worked in Europe, Middle East and Asia and therefore I am resourceful, commited and culturally sensitive.

Hi, I'm Quincey! I was born and raised in Hong Kong and moved to Canada in Grade 10 to continue my high school and university education. I earned my Ontario Secondary School Diploma and recently graduated from Western University with an Honours Bachelor of Medical Sciences degree. I'm excited to share that I’ve been accepted into two of Canada’s top veterinary schools: the Ontario Veterinary College at the University of Guelph (ranked 6th globally), and the Atlantic Veterinary College at the University of Prince Edward Island.
