Hi everyone. I am a qualified teacher and I specialise within the Early Years Curriculum. I have spent a number of years working in a variation of Primary schools and I am passionate about helping children to learn new skills. I enjoy scaffolding their learning and take great pride when children achieve their goals. I have experience of teaching older children and have taught all subjects in KS1 and KS2. I am a patient and creative person and like to help others achieve their goals in life. I live in Cheshire with my family. I have experience of teaching a programme called Read, Write, Ink to young learners and found this to be a very effective way of acquiring and developing reading, writing and language skills. I have also used a number of other programmes within my teaching such as specific Mathematic programmes. I have a degree in Early Childhood Studies and a PGCE in Early Years. I have 6+ years of experience in teaching and working with Special Educational Needs student at a different level. In this duration I spent one and a half year teaching in Great Britain in a state school with one to one Special Educational Needs student (EBD, ADHD) and also as a Teaching Assistant in Year 1 and Year 2. Hi, I'm Ally! I live in Toronto and recently completed my Master of Arts Degree in English at the University of Toronto after doing my Bachelor of Arts Degree at Ryerson University. I'm hoping to get my PhD in English next! I have been a private tutor for over five years and have worked with students from the ages of 6-18 in a variety of subjects, helping them to be more confident in their abilities and improve their grades!
