My name is Jacob and I am from London, UK. I have been an English teacher for almost 10 years. I currently live in Saudi Arabia, where I teach at a University and also tutor online. I have a Masters Degree in teaching English and am a certified IELTS instructor. I have 2 dogs, a Golden Retriever and a particularly troublesome German Shepherd, who occupy a lot of my time. I have also recently taken up windsurfing and scuba diving. After completing my degree in Russian Studies and my Cert- TESOL qualification, I moved to Russia to work as an English teacher. Firstly with International House and then with a number of other language schools. I also worked as a tutor for a variety of students. I have also spent my summers working for a language school in London, teaching students from all over the world IELTS preparation. I am currently living in Saudi Arabia teaching students at the University. I have experience teaching students of all ages from 5 to adult and all abilities, general English as well as exam preparation (Cambridge and IELTS). I have just completed an MA-TESOL (Masters degree in English Teaching) at the University of Nottingham, and I am also a certified IELTS instructor. I like my students to feel comfortable, gain confidence in communicating and learning, so I create a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere to help my students express themselves.
