Hello! I am Casey, and I am from South Africa. My passion for teaching extends not only to children but also to anyone who wants to learn and develop. I have a high energy level, and I love teaching English. I teach grammar, phonics, Cambridge English, reading, conversational English, and I also help students prepare for speech contests and interviews. I can teach both children and adults throughout Hong Kong.

When I was younger and studying for years at Thammasat University in Bangkok, I acquired many learning skills from the young European people in the nearby location named 'Khaosan Road.' This community of guesthouses provides for young travelers from around the world. Aside from the clumsy and awkward English courses in class, I had the opportunity to learn more languages from foreign youths. Additionally, during the high season for tourism in the country, I gained experience by working at a travel agency that provided weekend jobs until I graduated. After graduation, I couldn't find anything better than the tourism industry, so I have been working as a tour guide up until now. In the field of tourism, I had a lot of free time each day, which I spent reading books on various languages and their grammar, including German, Spanish, Italian, and more. Furthermore, I had the chance to learn about the Latin language, which helped me understand the roots of many English words and gain a deeper understanding of European languages. As a tutor, I can guide students or learners to delve deeply into English and gain a more profound understanding of it.

Hi, My name is Jaya Daswani! I grew up in Hong Kong, but study conservation biology in Australia, but am currently taking a year off in Hong Kong. I have worked as a supply educational assistant at Kowloon Junior School (an international school in Ho Man Tin), an english tutor at a tutorial centre in Tsuen Wan, as well as volunteered teaching english in a tutorial school for underprivileged children in Ho Man Tin. On top of that In the past I travelled to many countries in Asia volunteering in orphanages. All of these experiences have made me patient and understanding with children, yet thorough and efficient. My name is Jaydene and I am an English teacher with IELTS certification and Teaching certification for students with special needs I hold a PGD in early childhood education. I worked at a private institution teaching the IGCSE curriculum to learners from years 1 - 10, as well as adult students preparing for IELTS and SAT exams. I worked with a variety of students including special needs, and students of many ages and backgrounds. When doing lessons with me, students will soon understand my methods of teaching are in accordance with what I feel is better suited to them as an individual, I keep my lessons fun so that I keep my students involved and interested in my lessons. For my younger students, I will follow lessons custom-made to suit their individual needs. I involve some Montessori methods when teaching as I believe it is a wonderful way to keep young students interested and involved. We use whiteboards and colored markers, threading laces through letters and Playdough to make letters of the alphabet and so much more. With my Adult students who are preparing for IELTS or SAT exams or just wanting to learn English as a second language, we go through Modules that are custom designed for each student's needs that will include speaking, listening, reading, and writing. I will discuss my student's progress and where I feel they need to focus more in order to help them succeed in their goals.
