I began teaching French at the secondary level as a French language assistant in Northern Ireland. I specialized in A-level preparation and essay writing. Then, I became a French lecturer at the University of Bath in the UK, specializing in spoken French, grammar, and exam preparation for two years. I then took up tutoring for a more personalized approach. I have a lot of experience in spoken French, A-levels, and AS-levels preparation, teaching grammar, DALF, and DELF preparation. I have also coached students to obtain their TCF B2. I have a wide range of students, from primary school children to retired people, and I love adapting to them all! My qualifications in FLE (French as a foreign language) from the Alliance française will guarantee you sound methodological lessons, following the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages). Moreover, I have first-hand experience with French A-levels and can guarantee support with spoken French and French essays for AS and A-levels. Although I will adapt the pace to your needs, I will also make sure you progress in your practice of French by setting a lesson routine including vocabulary and grammar, and regular homework (if wanted!).
