I am a native Korean language instructor. I studied Korean Language & Culture, and my teaching experience covers Hangeul at beginner to advanced levels, business Korean, and TOPIK exam preparation. I offer private as well as group face-to-face lessons on Hong Kong Island, along with online Zoom lessons. I emphasize correct Korean pronunciation for students to sound more natural when speaking Korean. For TOPIK exam preparation, I focus on Korean grammar, writing, idiomatic phrases, and cover all areas of the exam. In my lessons, I also provide an introduction to popular Korean culture, such as basic Korean history, Korean foods, traditional customs, trendy words, folk arts and games, and Korean customs on special occasions. I believe that such cultural references will help students gain a better understanding of the Korean language and Korean culture.

Although I’m not a certified teacher, I focus on slow and practical conversation-based lessons using everyday Korean expressions. I customize lessons based on each student’s personality and level, and help them learn naturally through interesting topics like K-dramas and K-pop. My teaching style is soft, warm, and encouraging. I try to create a relaxed atmosphere so students don’t feel afraid to make mistakes. Let’s learn Korean together slowly and enjoyably!

I am Korean Native. I have taught more than 30 students in online tutoring app teaching from basic conversation, pronunciation, TOPIK, and daily conversation. I can speak English, Mandarin, and a little bit of Japanese and Cantonese. I have taught other subjects as well English, Mathematics, and Mandarin as private tutor in person in the past. I grew up and graduated from high school in Canada. I attended and graduated from Korea University and completed my master’s degree at Seoul National University.
