I am an experienced tutor in social studies. I graduated with an IGCSE and A-levels in various social studies disciplines, including Politics, Economics, History, and Geography. Additionally, I hold a Postgraduate degree in Political Science from Madrid, as well as a Master's degree in Law and Economics from the European Union. I have tutored university students in Politics, Law, and Economics.

I am the founder of a boutique tutoring firm in Hong Kong that specialises in providing academic, exam, and personal statement advice to our students through hourly online lessons that are tailored to the individual requirements of each pupil. We have experience tutoring students from some of the top schools in Hong Kong, such as Hong Kong International School and Diocesan Girl’s School, as well as from the top public schools in the United Kingdom, such as Harrow and Roedean. Our tutoring experience also includes helping students navigate the complexities of entrance exams for the top British public schools and universities. Many of our students have gone on to attend Westminster, Harrow, Cheltenham Ladies’ College, Brighton College, University College London, the LSE, and Oxbridge, to name a few.

I have been teaching for over 16 years and still think it is the best job in the world. I make my classes fun, creative, and communicative, no matter how old the student. The best way to learn is to enjoy it! As a practitioner of post-method pedagogy, I adapt my teaching practice to the needs of the learners, keeping them engaged and helping them achieve their best. I started as a teacher of English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) to adults in the UK for 7 years before coming to Hong Kong, where I have taught in the local school system as a NET, as well as in tutorial centers. I have a proven track record in teaching ESOL, English (as a first language), and History. I provide in-person and online training and encouragement to improve student self-confidence, study habits, and time management. I have helped students achieve greater academic success and independent learning through effective learning techniques which led to 100% of students scoring either grade 9 or 8 at GCSE, A at A Level, and 90% of students being offered a place at the school of their choice. Hi! I am a Canadian citizen who has lived and worked in Thailand for the last 25 years. I was a criminal law trial lawyer and Federal drug prosecutor in Canada before moving to Thailand to become an educator. My Canadian university degrees are in Political Science (with a minor in English Literature) and Law. My teaching experience in Thailand includes the following: Assumption University (ABAC) * Lecturer and Deputy Director of the Institute for English Language Education (Assumption University). * Co-founder of the 'English for Law Students' program, a joint project between IELE and the Faculty of Law. Ramkhamhaeng University (Bangkok) * Adjunct Professor (Part-time)- MA level Political Science lecturer. National Institute for Development Administration (NIDA) * Part-time lecturer in the Faculty of Law (MA level). I also have experience with individual and small group lessons for professionals (lawyers, nurses, bank employees, high school and university students). Additionally, just in case it is of some interest, I am a golf professional and instructor who played on the Asian Seniors PGA Tour and the Asia Pacific Champions Tour when I was younger. I live in downtown Bangkok and have no problem traveling anywhere in metropolitan Bangkok for tutoring sessions. I love to teach.
