I have taught English Language and Literature for over 25 years in four different countries and have extensive experience with students for whom English is a second language. Through my work abroad I also prepared students for the academic and professional IELTS exams. As well as my degree and PGCE I am also TEFL trained.

After an initial assessment of the student's level, I tailor materials or often make specific resources to fit the need. In each session, I like to include a variety of activities including discussion, reading and writing.
For students with short attention spans, I include 'break' activities so as to help them retain focus. Read less
