As an Online English Tutor, I always provide my students with activities designed to enhance their writing skills. These include exercises where they use English words in their own sentences, as well as essay writing tasks that encourage them to develop and express their ideas on various topics.
When teaching grammar, I always emphasize the rule of subject–verb agreement so that my students can better understand how to construct grammatically correct English sentences. For spelling, I incorporate spelling drills during our classes to assess my students’ familiarity with the English words we use. Through this activity, they learn the importance of spelling words correctly and how it contributes to effective written communication. For punctuation, I introduce my students to the different punctuation marks and their proper usage as early as the first day of our tutorial session. This helps them become familiar with how each symbol functions and how they differ from one another in writing.
