I am a recent graduate of Queens College with a B.A. in Biology. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with an overall gpa of 3.9. I was an annual member of the Dean's list and graduated with High Honors while winning the award for highest gpa of all Biology majors. I spent three years tutoring biology and chemistry at Queens College and an additional year tutoring privately. This fall I will be starting medical school at the Frank H. Netter SOM and my goal is to work part time as a tutor. I am an extremely dedicated and reliable person who takes pride in every project in which I am involved. Of all my previous and current employment, tutoring is the most satisfying and gratifying. Being a father of a five-and-a-half year old daughter, I understand the importance of guiding and teaching young people. I am a PostDoc at Rutgers University who enjoys science. I do research in Theoretical Chemistry, which involves Chemistry, Physics (Quantum Mechanics) , Math and Coding (Fortran !! and Python). I am passionante about teaching because this the only way to propagate and consolidate science in the community. I always make sure that the students understand what science is about and how they can use scientific concepts to understand their world. I have taught Chemistry, Physics and Math to students from all different levels of schooling such as middle school to undergraduate.
