For the past four years, I have worked as a tutor with Club-Z In-Home Tutoring. I love helping students of all ages learn and grow as they gain a better understanding of their coursework. My favorite part about tutoring is seeing how students become more confident when they are more successful at school. Before becoming a tutor, I worked as a Writing Consultant at Missouri State University, helping students with their essays.

I have been in the education field for numerous years now and have had a hundred percent success rate with my students and everyone I come into contact with. My main teaching field is English and Mathematics in Montana Pretoria.

I graduated from the university with a 2:2 degree in law. The nature of my degree has prepared me for a career in this role. My degree involved me critically analysing between two opposing views. This has given me persuasive skills, which are important to negotiate with both clients and colleagues. The nature of my degree has prepared me for a wide-ranging career path. My course required being involved in moot court trials which provided me with presentation and oratory skills. I believe this skill will be relevant in my role. In the last five years, I have mainly taken up casual and temporary work in healthcare. Currently, I am a Trainee Independent consultant in Genistar. I offer financial education training while introducing products and services within the Genistar product range. I am keen to learn, enthusiastic with a bubbly personality. I enjoy taking on a new challenge and believe this role will fit in with my skills qualifications and experience. I am an English tutor and an Ontario teacher! I can work with your child to improve his/her reading and writing so that they are able to communicate effectively and achieve better grades. I studied at York University and have a Bachelor of Psychology and a Bachelor of Education. My background in education allows me to understand the curriculum expectations and what is expected of your child. In addition, I have over 3 years of experience with teaching students from JK - Grade 6. Learning how to communicate effectively through reading, writing and oral presentation, are skills that your child will need in any career they pursue in the future. As a result, I take my role seriously and plan tutoring sessions according to your child's strengths and learning styles.
