My name is Lauren Meyer. I am a native English speaker, and I look forward to offering students the ability to improve their proficiency in English. I am dedicated to celebrating my students' cultural heritage while giving them English skills they can use. For example, I encourage students to talk about their favourite things to do, food, family, and cultural events that describe elements of their cultural heritage. Hi there, I am Sydney, a 2nd year International Relations student at Durham University in the UK. I specialise in essay writing, building up vocabularies and grammar correction. My uni projects are predominantly essay writing and I hope to help my students to achieve good grades in writing, and try to be creative in the same time.

I am a highly motivated and hardworking individual having achieved a first class degree and the top mark out of all students in my course. I use a whiteboard which allows me to present the topic easily and make all lessons interactive and more helpful for the students. My tutoring style is always consistent with previous lessons. I always go through a PowerPoint presentation to introduce and explain the topic. After the PowerPoint presentation I use worksheets and exam style questions to test the students knowledge based on what has taught.
