Hello! I am a native English teacher born and raised in New York, so I speak with an accent from the United States. I first started teaching while I was abroad, and I have experience teaching non-native English speakers in Hong Kong, Mainland China, Vietnam, Canada, and the USA. Now living in Hong Kong Island since 2019, I can also speak Cantonese and I hold 2 English teaching diplomas (CertTESOL and TEFL). I teach English to students at all levels, from primary to secondary school students to adults. Hello, my name is Glaiza. My teaching experience covers a wide array of subjects, levels and venues. I have taught both children and adults. I have had the pleasure to travel and lived abroad, specifically in some European countries. This has given me an understanding of the challenges of traveling and living in a country where the language spoken is not your own. It has also provided me with first-hand knowledge of the language skills needed to live, work, or travel abroad.
