My name is Vivian. I'm a native English speaker currently studying in Canada at the University of British Columbia. I work with children from ages 4 and older, as well as adults. I have experience in teaching children and teenagers of all different levels and ages, so everyone is welcome, from kindergarten and elementary school to high school. I have taught a wide variety of students and have also prepared them for exams or tests necessary for acceptance into education or training opportunities. I am earning a bachelor’s of arts in Studio Art and Psychology at the University of Guelph. During this time, I also took writing classes on all genres while reviewing handbooks and developing newsletters for work. I hope to use my knowledge of History, Psychology, as well as Language Arts to go on to teach these subjects to her students. I love to tutor English and writing, all levels of history, spanish, mathematics, psychology, biology and geography. When not reading papers or writing, I enjoy pouring over the latest book with a cup of tea and listening to music, sometimes at the same time.

I am a graduate of King George V International School in Hong Kong where I completed the IB Diploma, and a current Undergraduate Student at the University of Toronto where I study Economics, Education, and Sociology. I’m presently based in the Tseung Kwan O area while I’m back in Hong Kong for the summer but am willing to travel to various parts of Hong Kong if required. Hi, I'm Irene! I offer secondary school students ENGLISH LANGUAGE/LITERATURE and HUMANITIES tutorials. These include: *HISTORY *PSYCHOLOGY *THEORY OF KNOWLEDGE and *POLITICS/SOCIAL STUDIES. NOTE: all my lessons are ONLINE, using ZOOM or SKYPE. As most of my tutorials focus on sharpening essay or writing skills, students collaborate with me on a shared GOOGLE DOC. Students have access to all the notes after the lesson! I also use textbooks (PDF) or work with the student's assigned textbook for their subject.
