Hello! My name is Sasha and I am looking to teach English in Hong Kong Island or Kowloon. I can conduct classes focusing on improving writing/ essay skills, completing reading comprehensions and grammar exercises, teaching phonics and working on pronunciation. I am also able to help with the completion of school assignments. I have completed a 120-hour TEFL in-class program from Chiang Mai University (Thailand) where I graduated as a TEFL teacher. About me: During the CMU TEFL course, I studied and had roles in three different local school visits at various age levels. I gained experience in creating lesson plans, managing classrooms, providing general teaching input, developing instructional lesson plans for students of different ages, organizing educational activities, incorporating fun elements, participating in role plays, and leading various games. I have taught at the following schools: - Sakaeo, Wangnamyen Mitsampan Wittaya School Grades M 5/6 (Feb – Nov 2020) - Anuban Trat School grade levels M/3 P. 5, P.6 (Dec 2020 - May 2021) - I have also worked at Assumption College in Ubonratchathani province (East of Thailand) since June - November 2021. During this time, I taught as a Homeroom teacher for students aged 07 - 15 years old, focusing on M-3, P1.5/3,2, M/2 levels. My teaching covered subjects such as Basic English, Listening Speaking, Science, and Health. I am continuing to provide lectures at the school. - Currently, I am teaching in a private school in the west of Bangkok from Monday to Friday.

I have been working in the teaching field for five years. After graduating with my bachelor's degree in early education in 2016, I briefly became a substitute teacher for an elementary school. I loved working with the kids and assisting in the learning process, but I didn't feel like I was making enough of a difference as a substitute teacher. I ended up becoming a tutor instead, so I could have more one-on-one interaction with students. I much prefer this type of environment because I get to watch them grow and learn over time. I have been working as a tutor ever since.
