Hi, my name is Randal. I am currently a final year student at HKUST. I mainly tutor English(ages 7-18), maths( ages 7-17) and college entrance exams. This includes APs, SATs, and IELTS. Through my multiple years of tutoring, I have been able to develop the skills that are required to provide my students with the best learning environment possible. I believe that every student has different needs, and my responsibility is to cater to those needs. I am an extremely patient tutor, and am always prepared for my students. I will provide my students with practice sheets, notes, and any other necessary materials. I am available to teach online and offline.

I like to get to know my students and find out what their needs are. Don't be surprised if I do a quick, informal assessment on you. This will save your time and my time, while also ensuring you're learning and enjoying the sessions with me. In my lessons, we will engage in activities, games, watch videos, or listen to music to expose you to as much English as possible, just like in the real world. I can work with students online or in face-to-face settings. I use the PPP structure to prepare most of my lessons, which makes learning English easier. Examples are presented to the students first, then a practice session, and finally a production session where students work in groups, pairs, or independently to use English in integrated skills. Using the PPP structure maximizes the students' use of all necessary skills: speaking, listening, writing, reading, critical thinking, teamwork, autonomy, and vocabulary. As a graduate student in TESOL, I have developed my own assessments, tests, exams, and rubrics to supplement my students' learning based on what research has shown to be most effective. I have completed the Massive Open Online Course ( MOOC ) for TESOL Methodology for teachers provided by the University of Maryland, Baltimore, USA. I've been working as an ESL teacher here in Thailand for almost 4 years now and have taught different levels of students from kindergarten to high schoolers in government, private and international schools ( Offline and Online ). My name is William Schimeck. I was born, raised, and educated in Canada. I graduated from the University of Alberta with a major in Social Sciences. After graduating, I worked as a caseworker or social worker for many years before deciding to change careers and become an English teacher in 1995. I lived and worked in South Korea from November 1995 until March 2007. During my time there, I taught at a private school, a high school, and a university. Additionally, I tutored students of all ages and backgrounds on a part-time basis. I also taught Business English to company employees in Seoul, Korea. In 2007, I moved back to Canada where I continued to teach English in a private language school in Vancouver. My students came from many different countries such as Brazil, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Japan, Korea, and China, as well as various European countries. While in Canada, I upgraded my qualifications and completed my TESL certification, teaching IELTS classes. In 2009, I moved back to Asia, specifically Thailand, where I currently reside. Since then, I have taught Business English in a company and to university students. Additionally, I have been actively teaching online for about a year. Nowadays, I am focused on improving my skills as an online teacher and freelance writer. I strive to have a productive relationship with my clients and ensure their satisfaction.
