My name is Rose and I am a native English tutor. I am a Year 4 undergraduate student at The University of Hong Kong pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Architecture. Previously, I completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma. I started teaching English as a volunteer teacher at SpeakHub HK back in 2018. In this role, I primarily focused on helping primary students (Grade 3-4) from local schools develop speaking proficiency and confidence. In 2022, I started tutoring secondary school students (Grade 6-7) enrolled in IBMYP and similar curriculums. These students had varied goals, such as improving creative writing and expanding their English vocabulary. I am available for online or in-person English tutoring (preferably on HK Island). My hourly rate is negotiable and can be adjusted based on the individual learning needs and goals of the student.

Hi, I’m Marketa! I’m originally from Prague, but I’ve studied in British and international schools my whole life. I recently graduated from the University of Cambridge with First Class Honours, and I’m now continuing my studies at Sciences Po in Paris. I have extensive experience tutoring students of all ages and levels. Over the years, I’ve successfully prepared students for CAE exams as well as University of Cambridge interviews and entrance exams. As a multilingual speaker currently learning French myself, I’ve developed strategies that make language learning fun, memorable, and efficient. I have been teaching English as a second language to students in Thailand for 4 years. During my time as an English teacher, I have taught students of all ages, from grade 1 to adult business professionals. My main areas of focus are English for communication and standardized exam preparation (IELTS/TOIEC/CUTEP). I have been tutoring and offering conversational English sessions in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and online here in the USA. My students have been from Argentina, Brazil, China, and Venezuela. I work independently and tailor the classes according to each student's needs. We study sometimes for work-related things and sometimes for personal use.
