Hi, I'm Mara and I have been an English language tutor since 2018. I have been living in Amsterdam since 2021. Whether you are trying to study for a specific level exam, improve your academic performance in English, or simply want to speak better English in general, I am excited to help you out! My youngest student ever was three, and my oldest were a group of beginner adults of various ages, up to 50 years old, all sharing a wonderful willingness to learn new things and even have some fun along the way. I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Language and Literature Education. I worked in finance for 15 years, specifically at UBS, HSBC, and BNP Paribas, all in Tokyo. I specialized in institutional equity sales. Currently, I live in Bangkok, and I am semi-retired.
