Sebastien Wen is a recent graduate from the MA in English and Creative writing program at the University of Toronto. Prior to that, he completed his undergraduate degree in English and Creative writing (Honors) at the University of British Columbia. He is the 2014 National Youth Poetry Slam Champion and has publications in Arc, Event Magazine, The Dalhousie Review, Open Canada, Prairie Fire Magazine and Vallum, among others. He is the recipient of the EJ Pratt Medal In Poetry (2018) and the Avie Bennet Emerging Writers Award (2017). He has a passion for teaching and has spent the last two years working as a teaching assistant at the University of Toronto. Prior to that, Sebastien tutored extensively students of all ages. He has a holistic approach to teaching and tries to foster both creativity and critical thinking in students. He is available to teach literature, social science, and technical writing.

I am a postdoctoral fellow living in Berlin. I have been teaching English for almost twenty years at all levels and to diverse age groups. I have completed my Ph.D. in Canada. Living along the Texas-Mexico border most of the time since I first received my teaching degree, I have been teaching English the entirety of my career, both domestically, in Texas and New Mexico, and later in South Korea and the Middle East. My special attributes in teaching are the acquisition of a broader English vocabulary, the better understanding English language tenses, understand the usage of English digraphs and diphthongs, and, very importantly, the use of proper English accent. I love teaching my native language to others, and I find it particularly rewarding when one of my English language students is accepted for study at a university in an English-speaking country and when they are able to find an excellent job because of their attainment of the English language, which is globally the official language of the Internet and business.

I am a half French and Vietnamese university student. I have done the IB since 9 years old and graduated with the IB Diploma. Thus, I have a lot of experience dealing IB style assignments. Additionally I have very good writing skills, mostly essay writing. I am available to help with home assignments, beginners in English wanting to improve their writing. I can also teach spoken English through conversation.

Hi there, my name is Robyn Mechanicos. I am a patient, caring and enthusiastic individual who loves helping others. Throughout high school and university, I have excelled at both English and Maths- so I am able to tutor in both of these subjects. Currently, I live in the states where I au pair as well as a tutor a 6th grader. The level of education is incredibly advanced here, so I feel this equips me even more for online tutoring as I have experience in dealing with children, as well as understanding their capabilities.
