I am Zulaiha. I am currently in my second year of studying Biology at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. I graduated from Po Leung Kuk Ngan Po Ling College in 2018, obtaining the International Baccalaureate Diploma. Having completed the IB Diploma Programme, I have had the opportunity to experience an international curriculum, which has inspired me to pursue a career in the same field. Throughout my time in secondary school, I have actively participated in extracurricular activities while maintaining a balance in my studies. I have traveled overseas for school trips, whether it be for competitions or fulfilling our school's English teaching requirement. During my university years, I have been involved in various community service programs and have held positions as a writer and co-chief operating officer for CUHK's student-produced English magazine, CUriosity. Through these experiences, I have had the opportunity to engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds, which has further developed my confidence and interpersonal skills. In my role as Project Leader and Presenter for our radio show, CIBS United Vision of Youth, I have become more outgoing and disciplined. We were responsible for submitting episodes on time and providing regular progress updates. This entire experience has made me realize the importance of time management and punctuality. I have also come to understand the significance of articulation in effectively conveying our message, particularly in the field of education. Being a presenter has further strengthened these skills. In terms of my experience in the education field, I have worked as a part-time tutor for several companies. I have taught English Drama to young children aged 3-5 and have also served as a debate coach for senior secondary students. Additionally, I offer home tutoring and education consulting to members of my community who require assistance. I have been able to lead small group homework classes and develop learning materials as well.

Hello! My name is Octavia. I am native British, but I grew up in Spain, making me 100% bilingual. I have triple 1st class honours in French, Spanish, and Catalan from the University of Bristol, as well as extensive tutoring experience in London, Bristol, and Madrid with children aged 4-14. I also have teaching experience from volunteering at a primary school in Wiltshire, where I helped children aged 6-8 with lessons, grammar, and reading. I completed the IB, my GCSEs, and additional A-Levels in the UK, and spent a semester abroad at Complutense University in Madrid. I also graduated in the top 6 students from my university course and in the top 15% of all Modern Languages students in my cohort.
