Additionally, I obtained distinctions in English and Literature, receiving A1s in both subjects at 'O' Levels and a 7 for Higher Level Language & Literature in the IB. Previously, I have tutored Primary School students from Grades 4-6, and I have witnessed their grades improve from scoring bands of 6 to 2/3. My teaching philosophy is based on what I have found to be effective for myself as a student. I strongly believe in positive reinforcement and encourage students to learn by being friendly and approachable, so that they feel comfortable asking me questions.
