I began studying piano, vocal music, and flute at the age of five. During my childhood, I was highly enthusiastic about participating in various performances and competitions. At the age of 17, I completed my diploma in piano performance and was awarded the Vocal Scholarship at the Auckland Best of the West Vocal Competition in the same year. Following this, I was invited by the University of Auckland, New Zealand, to pursue a double bachelor’s degree in Music (Honours) and Literature. After graduating, I continued my studies with a master’s degree in Music, majoring in Musicology. After returning to Hong Kong, I completed a professional certificate in Music Therapy and went on to earn a second master’s degree at Hong Kong Baptist University, specializing in Orchestral Conducting. I have had the privilege of studying under many renowned teachers, including piano masters Tamas Vermas, Nan Gibson, and Li Ming Qiang; vocal masters Isabel Cunningham, Beatrice Webster, and Dr. Anthony Derek; and flute under Kate Lawson, principal of the Hong Kong Sinfonietta. In addition to my diplomas in piano and vocal performance, I hold a teaching certificate (CT ABRSM) from the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music and have achieved Grade 8 in Pop Singing from Rockschool. In recent years, I have been actively involved in promoting public music activities, participating in community and charity performances, and serving as an adjudicator for important music competitions.

I have been teaching piano and keyboard for over 5 years. I have a bachelor's degree in music, specializing in the piano department, with an excellent general rank.

I specialize in helping students achieve a Distinction in Music Theory Exams (Grades 1–5) through structured lessons, clear explanations, and intensive past paper practice. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Music, Distinction in Grade 5 Theory, and Grade 8 Piano from Trinity College London, I understand exactly what examiners expect and how to prepare students effectively. Piano lessons are also available for students who wish to develop strong practical skills alongside theory. My teaching style is structured, supportive, and results-focused — building both confidence and musical understanding.

Susan holds both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in music and has over 20 years of experience teaching -- tailoring each lesson to the individual student. Susan's gentle and positive spirit creates a safe place to learn and discover music. Lessons are designed to combine proper technique, theory, and fun so the student learns while staying motivated.

Hello. I'm John. And I am from Sta. Rosa, Laguna. I learned to play the piano since my 6th grade 11 years ago and am still playing up to this day. I learned it all by myself (I did not have a teacher), so I understand the struggle. I specialize on chords from beginner level up to Intermediate-Pro. Although I can also teach notes, but it would require a lot of personal practice time reading/playing sheets from the learner. I hope to work with you on your musical journey.
