Hi. My name is Thokozani Nzimakwe from KZN and currently, reside in Cape Town in Khayelitsha. I am 29 years old, making me a fresh and vibrant teacher. I studied for my Applied Maths degree in Cape Town majoring in Applied Sciences and Statistics. I am a qualified Maths and Science teacher by profession started in 2017. I am currently teaching in Maths and Natural Sciences in High school and have a lot of tutoring experience now and during my varsity years. I have 2 years teaching experience and have managed to increase the number of learners doing pure Maths in my school; which was an achievement for me and my school. I love teaching and tutoring as it allows me to further explain the content in a practical way. For the first time in 2018 Grade, 10 Maths average was high and the whole school congratulated me. I am also very proud of the contribution I made in tutoring UWC statistic students in 2018 first semester, the feedback and outcome humble me. I grew up with a phobia for mathematics but the introduction of one tutor in my 8th grade in Junior High School was the beginning of a new love affair with mathematics. Through the relation of complex math subjects to practical and everyday life situations, these subjects become easy to tackle and fun to solve. My love for math led me to pursuing Elective Math in Senior High School and to a math related programming for my undergraduate ie Economics. Hello, my name is Roisin. I am a qualified secondary Mathematics teacher with over two years of experience in online tutoring. In addition to my Maths PGCE, I have a first-class Psychology degree from a Russell Group University and currently work as a Research Assistant. My degree in Psychology means that I have a broad knowledge of how learning occurs and methods to promote deeper understanding and long-term retention of information. I tutor for multiple companies and have helped many long-term and short-term students significantly improve their confidence and grades. My core belief when tutoring is that everyone can achieve; it's just the process that differs. Therefore, I like to differentiate my sessions for each student so that they work best for each individual learning style. I am very patient and organized and will work with my students to help them achieve or surpass their goals. I am available for long-term students who wish to have tuition throughout the academic year, as well as short-term students who may want a few sessions before an exam or are struggling with a couple of specific topics.

I'm a Malaysian living in Bangkok. I love math to the core, and I have been teaching math to both my children and a few children in primary school. They started learning math in fun ways and scoring excellent marks (often full marks) in their school assessments. Math requires a lot of practice, so we will be working on math problems every day.
