My ten years of experience as a consistent MTAP-Math Challenge Contestant and my five years of experience as a Private Math Tutor speak volumes of my credibility. Hello, my name is Mzati. I am a student currently studying at UCT. In high school, I enjoyed maths and finished Matric with 93% in maths. I enjoyed helping others with maths while in school and now that I've found some time while studying towards my degree, I've decided to pick up tutoring. Hello, all. Throughout my professional life, I have been working in educational material consultation for tutoring purposes. Although I am not a tutor myself, I have seen many well-designed products and teaching methods that utilize them effectively. In both the materials and the mathematics being taught, I have always observed the presence of skilled teachers who enjoy their work. However, there have been instances where I have come across poorly designed materials and unhappy students. This background has motivated me to learn more about the teaching and learning process. I have spent a considerable amount of time conversing with teachers and trying to understand their experiences firsthand. Currently, I am involved in the field of educational robotics. My aim is to assist teachers in implementing this concept into their curricula as a motivational tool for learning other subjects and to stimulate multiple intelligence.
