I am Miguel Bastida, a musician and educator from Mexico. I studied classical composition and have been living in Hong Kong for the past 13 years. During this time, I have had the pleasure of teaching piano and music theory, conducting lessons in English to connect with a wide range of students. I am also a member of a band called Deer Mx, and we have toured extensively across Asia, blending classical influences with mainstream music. Hi, my name is Oriana Tio Parahita Nainggolan, but you can call me Tio. I'm from Yogyakarta, Indonesia, and I've been in Bangkok for 6 months pursuing my PhD program. I've been a piano teacher for over 20 years in Yogyakarta, and I am also a music lecturer at the Indonesian Institute of the Arts Yogyakarta (Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta). I have experience teaching piano to students ranging from children (as young as 4 years old) to adults (up to 60 years old). I hold ABRSM certifications for grade 6 piano and grade 5 theory. I am a drummer and electronic music producer from Rome. I graduated from one of Europe’s most prestigious music colleges, the Saint Louis College of Music in Rome, Italy. I hold a Bachelor's degree in drums and Jazz harmony, as well as a Master's degree in Pop/Rock music. During my studies, I had the privilege of learning from esteemed educators and performers in the drumming scene, including Daniele Chiantese, Gianni di Renzo, Roberto Gatto, and Claudio Mastracci. I also attended masterclasses with internationally acclaimed artists such as Horacio el Negro Hernandez, Keith Carlock, Lenny White, and Peter Erskine. I have experience teaching both groups of students and individuals of all ages. My musical background is diverse, starting with a passion for Hard Rock/Heavy Metal and Progressive music. I played in various bands in Rome, touring and performing across Italy, Europe, and the United States. As my musical journey progressed, I delved deeper into studying jazz drummers and exploring different musical styles and cultures, from Latin Music to traditional Scottish drumming. A full-time piano and cello teacher, I graduated from The Education University of Hong Kong, majoring in music, and also attended International Christian Quality Music Secondary School. I achieved the ATCL diploma in piano and obtained grade 8 with merit in cello. During my studies, I was instructed by Miss Shirley Ip and Miss Anna Kwan, who are both talented musicians and members of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra. I served as the co-principal cellist in both my secondary school and university orchestras. Additionally, I had the privilege of winning the silver band at the International Youth Music Festival in Czech Republic. Furthermore, I have participated in various music events such as the Haw Par Music chamber festival, Rex Music strings band, international Marine Symphony (Wedding band), Seed music strings band, and more. I strongly believe that I can share my passion for music with my students, and I look forward to meeting you soon!

I wish to offer students lessons who are taking GCSE or A level music. Having attained both LTCL diploma on both cello and piano and hence receiving a scholarship from Harrow School. Lessons will include various essay practices and techniques on how to analyse a piece of music accurately.
