Hello! I'm a full time musician/guitarist since I was 12 and have travelled from various countries as a professional musician from Bahrain, Malaysia, Cambodia, Hongkong and Thailand from 2012 up to this day.

Have a quality for adopting new concepts of studies for teaching. I try and help students to achieve immediate and long term goals. My experience as a teacher has helped me to gain a knowledge of child psychology and I am capable of understanding student’s needs and take measures accordingly.

A versatile musician, he enjoys collaborating with other artists as well as exploring different musical genres. Having completed his Master of Music degree in 2019, he is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts in Organ Performance and Literature at the Eastman School of Music, studying with Prof. David Higgs. He was accepted into the Eastman School of Music in 2017 and won first prize at the prestigious Arthur Poister Competition in Organ Playing (2018) merely a year later. He performed a memorized, full-length winner's recital at Syracuse University in October 2018. Other awards include Gerald Barnes Award for Excellence in Pipe Organ (2018) and Dr. James B. Cochran Endowed Organ Prize (2020). ​ At Eastman, Ryan studies the organ with David Higgs, the clavichord with William Porter, and the harpsichord and continuation with Lisa Goode Crawford. He has participated in masterclasses and workshops with Michel Bouvard (France), Arvid Gast (Germany), Edoardo Bellotti (Italy), Stephen Tharp (U.S.), Christophe Mantoux (France) and Peter Westerbrink (Netherlands), among others. Ryan is an active performer, often taking part in the "Tuesday Pipes" series in Christ Church Rochester, "Going for Baroque" on the Italian Baroque Organ at the Memorial Art Gallery, and various community concerts around the Rochester area.

I graduated with my Bachelor of Music from Memorial University in 2019 and have been teaching singing, piano and theory privately since 2015. I am also an accomplished writer and public speaker. I have been teaching music theory, piano, and violin for 20 years. There is a 100% distinction rate in both ABRSM and Trinity exams. My students have also won championships in competitions. I am a drummer and electronic music producer from Rome. I graduated from one of Europe’s most prestigious music colleges, the Saint Louis College of Music in Rome, Italy. I hold a Bachelor's degree in drums and Jazz harmony, as well as a Master's degree in Pop/Rock music. During my studies, I had the privilege of learning from esteemed educators and performers in the drumming scene, including Daniele Chiantese, Gianni di Renzo, Roberto Gatto, and Claudio Mastracci. I also attended masterclasses with internationally acclaimed artists such as Horacio el Negro Hernandez, Keith Carlock, Lenny White, and Peter Erskine. I have experience teaching both groups of students and individuals of all ages. My musical background is diverse, starting with a passion for Hard Rock/Heavy Metal and Progressive music. I played in various bands in Rome, touring and performing across Italy, Europe, and the United States. As my musical journey progressed, I delved deeper into studying jazz drummers and exploring different musical styles and cultures, from Latin Music to traditional Scottish drumming. My specialties include: - Getting beginner pianists off on the right foot, helping them play anything they want in the shortest period of time by teaching proper technique and theoretical knowledge through songs of their choice. - Rehabilitating the mindset of individuals who have stopped playing the piano for many years due to reasons such as loss of interest or trauma. - Using music as a tool to aid in mental health and emotional well-being. - Coaching bands or small groups of musicians who want to play together. - Conducting fun and engaging group music classes of various types, including music discovery, theory, and improvisation sessions.
