By exposing them to different examples of the said activity and after that let them do their own. It will not be perfect rightaway but by constant practice they will know how to do it.

By letting them read different literary pieces and exposed them to the different English articles, stories and other materials.

Q: How do you encourage students to pursue their own writing interests in English?

By motivating them that learning is a continuous process, they need to be couragious and have trust to their selves that they can do it. The process is not easy but in time, success will be achieved.
