My name is Som, and I am a dedicated yoga teacher with over 11 years of teaching experience in Thailand. Yoga is not just my profession—it is my lifelong passion and way of living. I completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training (TTC) in Thailand, where I built a strong foundation in yoga philosophy, anatomy, alignment, breathwork, and mindful teaching methodology. Since then, I have continued to deepen my knowledge through consistent self-practice and teaching experience.

Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to teach a wide range of students, primarily Thai participants from diverse backgrounds, ages, and fitness levels. From complete beginners taking their very first class to advanced practitioners refining their skills, I design each session with care, safety, and intention. My goal is always to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable, confident, and inspired.

My teaching style focuses on proper alignment, mindful breathing, and building strength with awareness. I believe yoga is not about achieving the perfect pose, but about understanding your body and respecting your own limits. In my classes, I emphasize gradual progress, injury prevention, and cultivating inner balance. I enjoy guiding students through flows that improve flexibility, core strength, posture, and overall well-being.

Over the past 11 years, I have developed strong communication skills and the ability to connect warmly with my students. Teaching mostly Thai participants has allowed me to understand cultural nuances and adapt my instruction to suit their needs. I prioritize clear demonstrations, hands-on guidance when appropriate, and encouragement that motivates students to grow at their own pace.

Beyond physical practice, I integrate elements of mindfulness and stress relief into my sessions. In today’s fast-paced world, many students come to yoga seeking mental calm as much as physical fitness. I aim to create a peaceful space where they can reconnect with themselves, release tension, and restore energy.

My background has also given me experience in both studio and group class settings. I am comfortable leading structured classes while remaining flexible to adjust according to students’ energy and abilities.
