I am a fourth-year student at an Education University, majoring in Primary School English Education. I grew up in Singapore and served in the emergency ambulance service for several years before changing career paths to teaching. I am a well-read, multicultural individual. My longest-running students are two Mainland boys currently in Grades 5 and 8 who are attending the Singapore International School (SISHK). I have also taught a local boy in Grade 10 at Nord Anglia, who is about to take his IGCSE. I have been teaching both of them for close to 3 years. Therefore, I am familiar with teaching English from scratch as well as the more advanced syllabus of international schools.

During the current Covid pandemic I am teaching online using Zoom as well as providing limited face to face classes. I am a native English speaking graduate with a Bachelor Degree in History from the The University of Liverpool. I have mainly spoken English throughout my entire life. However, my skill in the language increased dramatically from the moment I set foot in Edinburgh, Scotland for the first time back in 2015 to receive my high school education. After spending 7 years there and graduating, my English skills have become excellent. Several friends have even told me that I speak English as well, if not better, than the native speakers there. For these reasons, I believe I am more than equipped to teach English at any level.
