Hello, my name is Vienne. I am a second-year student currently studying Marketing and Management at the University of East Anglia. I enjoy conversing with individuals of different ages and am an easygoing person with my students. Teaching is my passion, and I hope to inspire joy and enthusiasm for the subject in my students. In the 10 years I've been Tutoring English I've been able to use my educational background in English Literature and Psychology for the enrichment of my students in central New Jersey and metro Philadelphia. I consider it an on-going goal to help my students achieve the ability to communicate in a clear concise way. After all, the way you write is the way you think. I agree with Issac Asimov who once implied that the best writers are always reading. Listening, reading, the use of vocabulary and sentence structure and, most of all, imagination are part of the wondrous chain of Learning. I want to encourage your voice. The ability to find your special "take" on a subject and then have the confidence to put it on display. Like so many things in life, confidence can help one experience their world to the fullest. My students have taken subjects that range from Revenge: Pre and Post-Hamlet to Into the Wild and come up with mature and insightful essays. I'm a psychologist and currently pursuing a second masters at Roehampton University, London. I've been in the field of education for over 10 years, ranging from voluntary to paid positions.
