My name is Amber, and I have over 10 years of experience in teaching Primary Education. I gained my BA (Hons) degree in 2012 and my Postgraduate Degree in Education (PGCE) in 2015. I have worked across all year groups from P1 to P6, both in the U.K and in Hong Kong, and I have extensive knowledge on how to promote learning within these age groups. I am also experienced and professionally trained in teaching English as a second language. Whether your child needs help with English, writing skills, reading, or Math I can work with you to create a tailor-made learning plan to help your child make progress and gain confidence on their learning journey.

I am a high school graduate who finished the DSE in HK. I can teach Pre + P1-6 Maths (English) and English.

I specialize in right brain training, and can teach phonics, reading, writing and oral English at a very high level in a short period of time. My techniques have been proven to be extremely effective for all ages.

I teach English skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening. I achieved a score of 8.5/9 in the IELTS exam and a score of 44/45 in the IB diploma, including a 7/7 in English A Language and Literature. Additionally, I obtained 8 A*/As in IGCSE, securing A* grades in both English First Language and English Literature. In ICAS competitions for English and English Writing, I have consistently ranked within the top 1% among Hong Kong students. Currently, I am pursuing a degree in Business and Law at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, supported by three admission scholarships, one of which is a full scholarship.

I teach English as a first language, which includes areas such as listening comprehension, writing comprehension, vocabulary, and general pronunciation and fluency of words. I am currently in Rustenburg. I hold a degree in Communication Science and a TEFL certificate.

As someone who loves education, possesses organizational skills, and can connect easily with students, this is the perfect opportunity for me to continue my professional development. I believe that my experience and passion for teaching English would be the perfect collaboration in learning through play. I believe that the quality of education a child receives in their childhood is essential for bringing out that person’s potential and that all children should have access to learning and care through play. I like to create an enjoyable learning environment where a child can self-explore their environment and potential with the support of teachers and peers. My strength lies in adapting my lesson plans to the student's level, age, and learning speed. Teaching through reading, writing, listening, and maths, the lessons are interactive and creative, I believe teachers act as a guide to a child’s learning journey throughout life.
