Online Vocabulary Tutors across the globe

Hi there! After finishing my studies, I recently came to Hong Kong and am looking to help those trying to learn and improve their English speaking skills. I am a 23-year-old native English speaker from the south of the UK. I am very passionate about teaching and would love to be able to help those who would like to improve their speaking, writing, and listening skills. In addition to this, I have recently achieved my undergraduate degree in art history and can also advise and tutor in art subjects. This includes essays, sketchbooks, and pieces of art. I can advise on many different forms of production, including painting, drawing, and printmaking. I am based in Hung Hom, but I am willing to travel to accommodate everyone's needs.

I am a TESOL Certified trainer of ESL and IELTS with experience in teaching English both online and in classroom. I am an MBA who worked in the corporate world for few years but ultimately found my passion in teaching world. My methodology to teach is through visual cues and mind maps, and my students love it. My lessons are never monotonous and boring; but they are interactive and lively !

I am a graduate of Ryerson University from Toronto, Canada, and I am currently living in Bangkok, around the Lat Phrao area. As a Thai-Canadian who is fluent in both languages, I am confident in my ability to tutor and guide my students. My goal is to improve their listening/reading comprehension, writing skills, vocabulary, pronunciation skills, as well as other skills they need to help them feel more confident in their abilities. While I believe in learning through conventional methods, I also believe that students need to enjoy the topic they are learning. Thus, I allow students to have some input in their own lessons and let them have the creative freedom they need to learn in a style that suits them best. Overall, I hope that I will be able to provide my students with a wonderful learning experience that they can utilize in their everyday life!

Hello! I am Teacher Tris. I am a good singer, an online gamer, an online nomad, and a traveller. I am also passionate about fashion and makeup. I teach Basic, Intermediate, Casual, and Business English. I can help students improve their knowledge and confidence in speaking English. I have majored in English and have been using the English language my entire life. I practice an environment of "I learn from you, you learn from me."

I graduated from Newcastle University in 2010 with a 2.1 in English Literature. After that? I qualified as a teacher in 2012 and have since worked in the UK and internationally. I have recently located back to the UK and have some availability for tutoring. In my post recent post, I worked as a Deputy Head Teacher with responsibility for curriculum. I specialise in the teaching of all core subjects but am particularly passionate about the teaching of phonics, reading and writing. I have worked with many students for SAT preparation and other statutory assessments. I am available for home tutoring in local areas, but available for online tutoring nationwide. Depending on the student's needs, tutoring may be delivered one to one or as part of a group session.

My aim as a tutor is to create in my students a deep understanding and confidence in answering exam questions and being able to tackle new and unfamiliar problems. My philosophy is based on the idea that learning happens in an environment of mutual respect in which the student is encouraged to think and make new connections for themselves.
