I recently completed my Transition to Teaching Elementary Program from American college of education (2018) and am very eager to begin my career as an educator. I completed my student teaching experience at White River Elementary School in Noblesville, Indiana in a 3rd grade classroom. Here, I had the opportunity to develop my own lesson plans, implement classroom management strategies, use cooperative learning techniques and utilize a variety of different assessments. I strived to develop nurturing relationships with my students, which I believe contributed to their confidence and growth in the classroom. I also cultivated an atmosphere of respect, discipline and joy in learning. Overall, this was a very rewarding experience. I take the responsibilities of an educator very seriously, and will work hard to provide a stimulating learning environment to students, encourage them to reach their full potential and develop mutual trust and respect from parents and the administration.
