I am a qualified teacher with certificates in training and assessment, and have been employed to teach and assess students in EMS, WH&S, and etiquette. I have a passion for the English language and enjoy sharing that passion. I like to teach in a relaxed and friendly manner with plenty of interaction. I don't lecture; I share and teach. My assessment skills help my students perform at their best, and I can tailor learning to meet any special needs and outcomes they require. While I can and have taught classes, I prefer to have just one or two students at a time to give them my full attention. I begin by assessing my students individually to ascertain their current abilities and find out what each specifically wants to achieve, then build a course that is entertaining, educational, and an experience that will last a lifetime. Since I have vast experience in many varied businesses and occupations, I bring with me considerable knowledge that will greatly assist my students in achieving their ultimate goals. I have armed myself with more than five years of pedagogical experience. I started working as a part-time tutor when I was a sophomore. Most of my students were young learners, cramming for IELTS/TOEFL tests. Before completing my bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Liberal Arts at Mahidol University, I had decided to become a freelance tutor and started developing English courses on my own. These courses are based on the idea of creative, discussion-based, and interactive learning, with the aim of bolstering students' confidence in using English in the long term. I won the 'Academic Excellence Scholarship' from the University of York, UK. Since gaining a master's degree in MA English Literary Studies from York, I have devoted myself to online teaching. This time, I teach English and English literature to high school students, university students, and adult learners. Apart from being an ardent tutor, I strive to be an attentive listener and supporter.

My name is Frank (Lifu), I am 23 years old. I immigrated to Canada when I was just 10 years old. I completed my bachelor’s degree in civil engineering at McMaster University with a 3.7/4.0 GPA. I recently took a full-time position with a top structural engineering consulting firm in Hong Kong. I am very passionate in inspiring the young generation and enjoy teaching others.
