Hello, I'm Ananda and I'm a rising junior studying Environment at McGill University. I also hold an A.A. in Liberal Arts from Bard College. I am mainly an English tutor, and I have a year and a half of experience doing so for college credit. I scored a 34/35 on each of the Math, English, and Science sections of the ACT, and a 35/36 on the Reading section. As I am still a student, the tips and tricks I use to conquer difficult readings and essays are still fresh in my mind, and I would love to share them with you!

My name is Cheryl. I am a certified ESE and English Professional teacher in Palm Beach County. I am currently working as an ESL teacher as well (tutoring both children and adults in this area.) I have 10 years experience working with special needs and regular education children (including ESL learners.) I also have six years experience tutoring college students. One of my specialties is teaching and tutoring children with special needs. I believe that every child has the capacity to learn, but children learn in different ways. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Management from Palm Beach Atlantic University, and am currently finishing up a Master's Degree in Special Education. I also have a Master's Degree in English. I have also studied Psychology at the Master's level. I have tutored several college students through graduation at the Bachelor's Degree level of Psychology and even Media Psychology on the Master's level. Therefore, My tutoring strengths include reading, mathematics, history, social studies, and language arts (including grammar and spelling). What can you expect?

We work with business professionals who want to improve their business English. Our specialty is teaching sales professionals who use English in their daily work. We are a tutoring team. One of us is a successful sales professional and sales author, the other is a certified TESOL teacher. We have a 9 week program that gives sales professionals all the tools necessary to sell using English. All of the English lessons are in the context of business sales. Continuing lessons also available after the 9 weeks. We focus on applied, practical business English that will help you succeed in sales. We don't teach children. We will consider university students and high school students on a case by case basis.

I have been tutoring academic English and English as a Second Language (ESL) for seven years. With a background in dramatic arts, I strive to make our classes fun and engaging. I prioritize ensuring that my sessions are worthwhile, positive, and full of value. I am skilled at assisting my students with organizational skills, homework, test preparation, and assignments. I do not simply provide answers to my students, but instead, I teach them how to ask questions that will lead them to find the answers themselves. In the absence of assignments or homework, I rely on lesson plans that start by introducing the topic in a fun and interesting manner. Then, I allow ample time for my students to practice relevant questions and ask any inquiries they might have.
