Since September 2025, I taught 700+ hours of Math and Physics. I graduated with a degree in Applied Physics from TU/e and am currently pursuing my Master’s in Amsterdam. My academic journey began with a strong focus on mathematics before diving deeper into physics, which gave me both rigor and a strong physical intuition. Over the past 5+ years, I tutored high school and university students in mathematics and physics, from calculus and linear algebra to IB-level physics. My students consistently became more confident and achieved better results after working with me. Today, I’ve put this experience into building Nova Flow Academy, a tutoring academy that combines small-group learning, consistent practice, and mentorship to help students not only improve their grades but also build lasting confidence. Alongside the academy, I also mentor a limited number of students one-on-one each year through a highly personalized program designed to support both their academic progress and long-term goals. I have a very positive attitude and am very motivating to ensure that students love mathematics and physics from zero to an excellent level. I have been teaching in Bangkok for 21 years and have almost 22 years of teaching experience. I am experienced in teaching IGCSE, AS/A-level, IB, SAT-1:2, AP programs, CBSE, ICSE, as well as all university level mathematics courses such as calculus 1 to 4, linear algebra, and more. Many of my students have graduated from prestigious schools like NIST, ISB, St. Andrew, and other international schools in Bangkok and around the world. Most of my students have graduated from top IB colleges worldwide with competitive GPAs. I have various methods to help students understand difficult questions easily, as I teach students from class 1 to university level. Many of my AS/A level students have achieved A/A*, IB students have achieved 6 or 7, and AP program students have achieved a GPA of 4/4. It is true that when students put in effort and teachers are dedicated, success is almost guaranteed.

In that role, I managed their website using CMS (ExpressionEngine). My educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from ABES Engineering College in India, where I was a dedicated student and achieved a TOEIC score of 865. I possess a diverse skill set, which includes proficiency in various tools and technologies such as SQL, Google Classroom, Jam Board, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as Google Docs and Sheets. Currently, I am also in the process of learning Thai, in addition to being fluent in English and Hindi. Furthermore, I hold Thai Nationality and OCI (Overseas Citizenship of India), which exempts me from requiring a work permit to work in Thailand or India. I was born in Bangkok and raised in India. My family has a long history in Thailand, dating back to the Indian community, and I am proud to be a fifth-generation member of my family living in this beautiful country. I have years of working experience in Private Equity and M&A consulting. I have been teaching students for more than 10 years. I am skilled at explaining abstract concepts and training students with a high aim for public exams. I am available to travel, but mainly teach on HK Island only.

Hi, I am Cyrus. I obtained a Master of Science from the University of California, Berkeley (Ranked #8 in World University Ranking, 2025) and a Bachelor of Science from Purdue University. I am a Math tutor for public exams, including the IB, GCE A Level, and US college/graduate school entrance exams, including the Quant section of SSAT, SAT, GRE, and GMAT. For more ambitious students, I offer tutoring in SAT subject tests in Math and Physics, as well as AP exams in Math and Physics. With over 8 years of tutoring experience, I have taught over 170 students from various international schools, such as HKIS, KGV, Canadian International School, Island School, German Swiss International School, and South Island School.
