Hello, I'm Cathy. My career as an Art Tutor began in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates during the Summer of 2017. I honed my skills in Art through the guidance and mentorship of one of the Master of Arts in the Philippines Fernando B. Sena. Life took me away from Art for over 20 years and became a part of the corporate world, however, I can say that I realized through teaching I can connect with students in profound ways, and bringing out their best potential is a priceless reward. I follow a structured syllabus from Basic Sketching to advanced level painting using various mediums. I look forward to being a part of your journey in learning how to paint.

Born and raised in Hong Kong as a bicultural Japanese-Chinese and later pursued an art education in New York City, I developed a set of aesthetics and approach to art-making that emerged from the philosophies of all the influences in my journey. From representational, figurative, abstract, to conceptual art, I find the fluidity and transience amongst all forms of art-making most liberating to an artist in a quest for her own voice. I believe that art should be a space unique to each person creating it. However, creating a structure to explore freely is necessary to facilitate and develop the visual instincts and perception to understand the language of art. I teach life drawing, painting with various mediums, abstract painting, and composition of an image. Currently, I am located in the northeastern side of Hong Kong Island. My lessons emphasize both the intuition of art-making as well as a critical consideration of formal issues pertaining to creating an image.

Graduated Bachelor of Fine Arts major in Graphic Arts at a University in Manila. Since then I have been conducting art workshops for children ages 5 - 10 years old since 1986. My first job was as an art teacher in a preschool in Manila and had established art workshops called ArtReach - Freedom of Expression during summer school breaks. When I relocated to Cebu, Philippines year 1990, even with a stable job as a Sr. Product Designer for Export companies. I won 2 Katha Awards for my product designs in Manila and Cebu. But I still continued to teach art to children in different sectors of the Cebu community, in private or public schools, children with learning disabilities, and less fortunate children thru charity events. My goal is to make a difference in other people's lives by sharing my passion in the fields of Arts and Crafting as therapeutic and groom talented children to be the best with their talent. I am not just their mentor, but I can also be a good friend.

I teach fundamental drawing and painting to beginners who wish to pursue a career in the arts and creative industry in the long run or to those who just feel like discovering a new hobby! I'm a Pampanga native; I was born and raised in San Fernando. I went to St. Scholastica's Academy Pampanga and received my BFAs in Information Design and Art Management from the Ateneo de Manila University. I've had an interdisciplinary education ranging from graphic design to Japanese cultural studies. I'm a practicing artist and have exhibited locally and abroad. I'm based in San Fernando, Pampanga right now. I want to help Kapampangan kids learn more about the fine arts and gain an appreciation of the local art scene.

Hello My name is Jessika. I graduated from YMCA of Hong Kong Christian college. I studied HKDSE business and art. I am willing to teach young kids.

I would like to add some information about me; Painting has always been my greatest cultural concern and whenever I can I go to art exhibitions, it is something I love to do. I had good training apart from that of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Valencia, which today makes painting and drawing the disciplines in which I feel more comfortable, free and safe. I know the color, the composition, the volume, and the trace. I have made a portrait, natural landscape, large formats (1.80m x 2.50m) and used different techniques. From the faculty, I have gone through different pictorial moments. I know the process of a pictorial work both realistic and spontaneous or abstract. Apart from the plastic arts, I am a quite multidisciplinary person and I develop my creativity in other disciplines such as design, illustration, and writing. As it appears in my CV I have attended the training of different kinds; creativity, interpretation, cinema, and art therapy. As a teacher, I have taught from children to adults. First of all, I am a good communicator, one of my greatest skills is to communicate in a clear and fluid way. It will be explained in a way that implies complex concepts to people who are not necessarily familiar with them. As for my teaching ability, I will emphasize that I propose activities appropriate to the specific learning process of each student according to their interests. I accompany the creative process and the projects of the student advising in a way to encourage research and the creation of their own language. I generate ideas, solutions, and new activities for the classroom with ease, which can respond to the needs of any student. I have been teaching Arts and French for 11 years.

I'm an experienced teacher and skilled in every major and minor art form, however, my areas of expertise are painting, drawing, and printmaking. I'm also very knowledgeable in art history and teaching advanced studio exams such as AP and IB. I am happy to accommodate my lessons to the needs of the student. I enjoy teaching all ages and skill levels.
