I love encouraging creativity and appreciation for art. Teaching is rewarding, especially seeing the growth of my students' skills & imaginations, and after giving private and small group art lessons for over 18 years, I enjoy it even more than when I first began! After receiving my BFA from Mason Gross School of the Arts (Rutgers) in 1988, I went on to work in art galleries & doing marketing & fundraising, then finally started my own art business full time about 23 years ago. I have 30+ years of experience in drawing, painting, illustration, digital art, photography and other media. I take the time to personalise my art lessons to meet the creativity, skill level and artistic needs of each student so they can get the most out of the lessons & I work at a pace each student feels comfortable with. My artwork has been exhibited in galleries and other venues for over 35 years and I've sold to private collectors, businesses and more so I have the passion and skills to help others grow their creativity. I listen, I care, I give respectful critiques as well as encouragement and I make the lessons fun. Each lesson is custom crafted to meet the skill level & creative interests of each student. All my current students have been learning with me for months to years, and all give me 5 star reviews, & I've taught people from ages 7 to 80+ years old. My name is Kash, and I'm a Japanese-American professional artist. I have experience in many mediums, specializing in Illustration and Comics, and I am also proficient in Character Design, Cartoons, Manga/Anime, Graphic Design, Acrylic Painting, and Crafts. I have worked as an Art Teacher for 2 years, and have experience working with children of many ages (3 - 18), and children with neurodivergence (such as ADHD, Autism, etc). I pride myself on prioritizing the needs and dreams of my students. I understand each child's way of learning is unique, and through understanding each student's respective needs, I can tailor the project and lessons around that to ensure they get the most out of our classes together. I teach around Hong Kong Island, and with an extra travel fee, I can travel out to the Kowloon districts and the Outlying Islands as well.

Dumisani Jere was born in Soweto and he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Visual Communication Design from the Open Window Institute Alumni in 2017. For the past 5 years part-time and 5 years full-time, he has worked for various companies in the art gallery and museum spaces, laser cutting / 3D printing industry, music/film industry, and software sector. He had his previous exhibition, which was his official solo debut, hosted at the Priest gallery. He is currently a co-founder of Metamorphosis Art Dimensions (PTY) Ltd, an independent audio and visual artistic company. He is a versatile illustrator and creative director, motion & sound designer, and animator/editor, working on a long-term full-time basis. Please note that his current BA Visual Communication Design degree should not be reviewed as a lack thereof in relation to film study. Instead, it has enabled him to focus on acquiring greater creative pre -production practical skills, and his on-the-job art direction filming industry experience is more thought-provoking and engaging for the clients and viewers.

I am now transitioning into the field of technology to pursue interests in knowledge management, programming, mathematics, and philosophy.
