Hello, I'm Rasna! I have been tutoring for 6 years now, and it has truly been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. My name is Rena Matha. I have been teaching children and teenagers to paint with watercolors and other painting media at the Fine Art School in Rayong, Thailand. Since last year, I have also been teaching watercolor painting to adults as a private instructor. I love encouraging creativity and appreciation for art. Teaching is rewarding, especially seeing the growth of my students' skills & imaginations, and after giving private and small group art lessons for over 18 years, I enjoy it even more than when I first began! After receiving my BFA from Mason Gross School of the Arts (Rutgers) in 1988, I went on to work in art galleries & doing marketing & fundraising, then finally started my own art business full time about 23 years ago. I have 30+ years of experience in drawing, painting, illustration, digital art, photography and other media. I take the time to personalise my art lessons to meet the creativity, skill level and artistic needs of each student so they can get the most out of the lessons & I work at a pace each student feels comfortable with. My artwork has been exhibited in galleries and other venues for over 35 years and I've sold to private collectors, businesses and more so I have the passion and skills to help others grow their creativity. I listen, I care, I give respectful critiques as well as encouragement and I make the lessons fun. Each lesson is custom crafted to meet the skill level & creative interests of each student. All my current students have been learning with me for months to years, and all give me 5 star reviews, & I've taught people from ages 7 to 80+ years old. My name is Kash, and I'm a Japanese-American professional artist. I have experience in many mediums, specializing in Illustration and Comics, and I am also proficient in Character Design, Cartoons, Manga/Anime, Graphic Design, Acrylic Painting, and Crafts. I have worked as an Art Teacher for 2 years, and have experience working with children of many ages (3 - 18), and children with neurodivergence (such as ADHD, Autism, etc). I pride myself on prioritizing the needs and dreams of my students. I understand each child's way of learning is unique, and through understanding each student's respective needs, I can tailor the project and lessons around that to ensure they get the most out of our classes together. I teach around Hong Kong Island, and with an extra travel fee, I can travel out to the Kowloon districts and the Outlying Islands as well.

I graduated with a Fine Art degree in the UK and have since had a range of creative jobs. I have experience in art (drawing, painting, printmaking, etc.) and have taught both children and adults. I am also an illustrator working with ink and pen, as well as digital tools. I have experience with graphic design tools as well, including the Adobe Creative Suite. Im able to teach and help develop fixed briefs and projects, or help develop specific skills including using Adobe programs as long as the student has their own computer/ iPad and access to the program. I believe everyone is creative; it's just a case of finding your own personal creativity and letting go of expectations. As a creative, I also have experience in considering 'how we see things' and how we can then represent them. This can be really helpful for high school art and design students. I also have commercial experience.

As an experienced and skilled artist and designer, I offer various lessons in a broad range of arts and design, from painting to fashion, graphics, and printmaking. I am patient and able to give students all the time and energy they need so they can be proud of themselves and the work they accomplish.
