Hello! My name is Shanice, I am a passionate English teacher from the UK. I currently work in an international school with five years of teaching experience. I possess two bachelor's degrees in Education and Business. I aspire to create student-centered learning environments in which the student is in the driving seat of their own learning. I believe each student is unique and endeavor to help them achieve their highest potential. Teaching is my passion and I relish helping students achieve their goals. I am well-rehearsed in teaching all aspects of English including; verbal, conversational, grammar, phonics, creative writing, and nonfiction writing. I discovered my passion for English when I was around 10 years old and since then I've never stopped learning it. I, later on, discovered that I enjoy it, even more, when I can see the progress of my students on the subject.

I completed my PGCE in 2017 and taught languages in the UK before moving to Penang, Malaysia. I have taught iGCSE ESL for three years and IELTS for two years. Currently, I teach English in a bilingual school in Bangkok. I have experience teaching languages to a range of age groups, from primary school children to adults. During my Year Abroad, I taught English to primary school students as a British Council Language Assistant in Orleans, France. I then worked in a private language school in Florence, Italy, teaching teenagers and adults. During my final year at university, I tutored GCSE French and Italian online.
