Hi! My name is Melissa, and I am a certified teacher in two Canadian provinces. I have taught grades 5-12, specializing in English/language arts and French Immersion subjects such as sciences humaines and français. I have been teaching for over 8 years and have worked across Canada, from the east to the west coast, as well as in several Indigenous communities. Currently, I am based in Newfoundland, Canada! My clear American accent started since I was 4 years old while living with my parents in the United States of America, although they are US citizens but I chose to return to Thailand and succeeded my bachelors in Science of Pharmacy from Chiangmai University. As I am a registered pharmacist but teaching brings joy to me every single time, so 4 years of teaching pharmacy students and nearly two years of home tutoring students age 4.5 to 9 years old gave me more and more teaching skills on matters of engagement and core lesson. Induce focus and understanding of the learning is the most important goal of my lesson plan.
