Her work with urban students and the surrounding community on a “Poetry Slam” earned her the teacher of the year award in 2001. She also teaches theatre and production to high school continuation students and has produced 4 plays at the local high school level. Hello! I am a full-time business student at the University of Southern California and currently spending a year at HKUST. I am based in Tseung Kwan O. My native language is English and my education has always been in English as I grew up in Canada. I am most confident tutoring English skills—from pronunciation to grammar to reading. In high school, I received a full score of 5 on AP English Literature and Composition and in 1st year university, I excelled in a 3rd year writing class. Hello! I previously worked as a playgroup and an English teacher at recognized learning centers in Hong Kong and I am currently freelancing. I absolutely miss working with children and I happen to have time in the morning to help with your kid/s' phonics, reading and writing! As an experienced teacher, I've learned to be engaging and patient, as well as to find the child's weakness and focus my teaching on that.
