Online Listening Comprehension Tutors across the globe

The main subject that I teach is English. I have tutored both primary and secondary school students in a local tutorial centre for 2 years, with good command of both English and Cantonese. I have also worked with kindergarten students aged 3-6 in a local kindergarten, where I conduct conversations in English and read English stories to them. I am familiar with English DSE syllabus as well as ways of improving English outside of the classroom (e.g. reading books and watching movies) While I am based in Hong Kong Island, I am happy to travel to other parts of Hong Kong to suit the needs of my students. I am currently also majoring in English studies under Bachelor of Arts in the University of Hong Kong, and scored a 5 in HKDSE English. Not only do I have experience but also relevant academic knowledge in the subject of English. According to the needs of the students, I can work on improving grammar, writing fluency, reading comprehension, spoken English and listening. I like to base my lessons on what the student is interested in and give them freedom to choose what topic they want to work on. From there, I discuss different mistakes, how to avoid them and ways to improve on the skill that they chose to work on for that lesson.

Miss Sim, aka Kaur Gursimran, has taught English for over three years. I am teaching English to pre-kindergarten to junior high students. There are various types of classes such as Playgroup, Phonics, Cambridge English, English Listening and Singing Assessment (ELSA), Reading, Writing, Oral, Listening, Grammar, Comprehension, Storytelling, Professional English, Interview Conversion Classes in different sizes of classes from 1on1's to over 20 students in a class. Both private tutoring and in local education centers and schools. Miss Sim received her Diploma in General Studies in 2020. She was currently finishing her Associate in Professional English Communication at the University Of Wollongong.
